No need for drama-queen mode. This is 3L of above average wine for less than $20 in the Minneapolis area. If this is the worst commercial wine you've tasted in 15 years, consider yourself lucky.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34121055.post-69520753717092972772009-12-03T10:32:34.100-05:002009-12-03T10:32:34.100-05:00Well, as is my custom, I shall decide for myself h...Well, as is my custom, I shall decide for myself how I feel about Pinot Evil. I've had one bottle recently, and it was very good. My local grocery store charges $8.00 for a 750-mL bottle, which is pretty reasonable.

Some other Pinot Noirs I've had were OK but had an unappealing smell (yes, I used the word "smell", not "nose" or "bouquet", deal Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34121055.post-28842811048029355382009-09-05T23:03:13.306-04:002009-09-05T23:03:13.306-04:00Davo is right on. Rip off at $18USD or any price.Lancenoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34121055.post-705585393567377552009-01-17T22:38:00.000-05:002009-01-17T22:38:00.000-05:00The reason I've found this bogpost is due to tasti...The reason I've found this bogpost is due to tasting this wine. I just bought this and am furious. I mirror the statement earlier that it is one of the worst wines I've tasted in over ten years. It's my opinion they should have inverted the order of the wine's name. Evil Pinot it is.Davohttps://www.blogger.com/profile/18265990922728827185noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34121055.post-40102007093587979622008-10-01T15:51:00.000-04:002008-10-01T15:51:00.000-04:00I tried one 4pack 3 months ago, and that's all I d...I tried one 4pack 3 months ago, and that's all I drink now. Smooth and no stuffy nose the next day! Did I mention affordable? But it's $20 in our area in PA.

Just trying to find out now if the plastic bag has BPA. I'm a freelance radio producer and journalist working on a story about boxed wines. I'm looking to speak with someone about the design of boxed wine, it's ascending role in US wine culture, and how boxed wine went from Franzia to fancy. You can contact me at karolnick@gmail.com. Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you.
Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-34121055.post-33084005702590938182008-04-04T13:42:00.000-04:002008-04-04T13:42:00.000-04:00Wow. I tasted a bottle of this a while back for an occasional feature on my blog, and it was probably the worst commercial wine I've tasted in fifteen years of wine drinking. It's the sort of wine that I can see having great variability in sourcing (though mine was the same French VdP appellation), but I'd try one before buying in quantity.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
